Reverse Applique

One of my favorite techniques! Build the image up from behind, cutting away the top layers to reveal what's underneath. Raw edges are finished with a zigzag stitch in variegated heavy threads. I use this technique in many of the quilts in other pages, including Palms and Boats & Such. If interested in purchasing a piece, please contact McKenna.
