| I'd never worked on an Elna before this one, but now I'm a convert. This machine runs smooth as glass and makes a perfect stitch. And then there's the cuteness factor! |
| The knee lever folds down to work, folds back up and stores in the case when you're not sewing. The accessory box fits snugly behind the freearm for storage. |
| And it all fits inside the case... which becomes an extension table when sewing. All very nicely thought out. |
| The handwheel is at the bottom on this machine--a first for me. |
| Lots of stuff in the accessories box, bobbins and screwdrivers and brushes and thumbscrews, as usual. And feet: darning, zipper, hemmer, straight-stitch, a hinged one I'm not sure about. Also a feed-dog cover plate and the black cam-looking thing is a low-gear that you can use to slow the machine down. |
I'm told these machines are more common in Western Canada. I sure don't see them in my stomping grounds (southern U.S.), so was excited and delighted to win this one on that auction place, and have it arrive in reasonable condition.
