Kenmore 158.17530 Sewing Machine
This is probably the most "loaded" machine I've ever had the pleasure to play with. I started with just the machine and cabinet--not even a foot controller/power cord--and over the course of a few weeks found pretty much every other goodie possible for it. Just one of those "bait" things.

It's quite a beautiful machine, a delicate mint-green color, extremely heavy and will handle both lightweight and heavy-duty tasks with ease. Has the dual-belt system that gives it a little extra ooomph. I found this machine and cabinet in virtually mint condition, and when I got it home discovered that, except for the handwheel, it was completely frozen. Apparently somebody wanted a "good machine" several decades ago, but never actually used it. It took several days to get it running like new again.

It stitches beautifully, including freemotion quilting, chainstitching, and about 40 decorative cam stitches, from sunbursts to teddy bears to Greek key and fish patterns. To chainstitch, the machine requires a special throatplate insert and bobbin adapter, both of which are included. Chainstitching can be used both decoratively, and as a temporary (basting) stitch during garment construction.

It comes with an original manual...

A monogrammer attachment...

A complete set of original feet, plus some extras: two screwdrivers, a seam ripper, stilleto, quilt guide, foot holder, edgestitcher, five hemmers, binder, gathering foot, zipper foot, fabric guide, cutting gauge, roller foot, straight-stitch foot, an open-toe freemotion quilting foot, also the original cards showing how to use everything, all in their original case.

Also some additional specialty feet, attachments, and cams galore: roughly 40 decorative cams, a buttonholer attachment, chainstitch attachments (plate and adapter), Q foot (for knits), Sears-brand walking foot, assorted needles including a double needle, and ten bobbins.

The cabinet has both an assist-lifter (really helpful with such a heavy machine, aids in putting it both up and down) and a brace in the leaf so it won't sag over time.

The cabinet closes up to standard size, and like the machine, is in like-new condition.
